With everything from five playgrounds, six open play areas, beautiful lake and even a skate park, Sar-ko-Par is a great place to let the kids run free. It's also great for families with plenty of shelter areas, basketball and even sand volleyball courts. Sar-Ko-Par has a little bit of something for everyone!

Recently renovated by NKC's Parks and Rec department, Macken Park has a brand new playground and a great tennis facility for all to use. Check out the great walking trail which is great for mom's with strollers, walkers and runners and it also has great places to picnic. The huge trees provide great shade for those hot KC summers.

Five stories tall and more than 75 feet wide, this giant silver screen shows 2D and 3D film, using state-of-the-art technology to let you not just watch a movie, but experience it. This is the only 3D theater in a 200-mile radius and can also show 35-mm films. The Film students' movies are showed here at the end of the year.

If there is a place where parallel worlds meet it would be the Hurricane. Persona from all walks of life meet in this wild environment. Drinks are resonably priced and cover for live music is very reasonable. And the best part about it: the bouncer hardly ever asks for ID cards.
